The warrior Angel and cancer .

Playing in her backyard ,
counting the no.of blessings , and wondering if she’s the unlucky angel who got sent without her wings ,
and like a butterfly chasing pretty flowers, lost track of the hours.
Didn’t know death- police would catch us off guard
Yesterday they told me she’ll wish us goodbye ,
And today , yet another opportunity , beside her to lie .
She’s surely an angel ,
Who got the demon within me , to get to my knees and pray to the Almighty to keep her down here , even if it was against his will .
She’s a fighter ,
The one who’d spend a fortnight,
Tackling the cancer cells. Just to make it to see the morning light.
I’m sorry i prayed for her to stay ,
Even though i know it caused her terrible pain ,
i think heaven was lonely ,
so they asked for her , but she is our angel, our one and only .
And definitely Not so soon , shall death let us mourn in vain .
