Replaced

 Awkwardness overshadowed the situation,
She asked for space, he gave it to her at an accelerating pace.
She asked to be left alone, he left.
She was a heart-breaker, but broken.
She was a thief, his heart was stolen.
Little that she knew,he’d have two,
He said no one could replace her,
but had someone erase her name.
The only weight left was that of the teardrop trickling down the face.
Emptiness followed the departure of ego, hurt, anger and regret
Didn’t have the time to run around, now her thoughts run.
The intestine had to share the function with the brain, and digest.
It was fire, it used to warm the heart, now it’s just burnt her.
